Tela-Group begins research and development of RFID technologies for the Medical Industry

Tela-Group announces that it will begin research and development of RFID technologies and services designed specifically for the Medical / Health Care Industries. The original focus of Tela-Group's RFID and GPS technologies revolved around the Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Manufacturing and Retail industry sectors. But as the use of this technology advances and becomes more prevalent, a need to address special issues distinct to the Medical / Health-Care industry has been identified: RFID equipment operating at frequencies that do not interfere with other electronics used in health care facilities while still interacting with standard RFID devices found within the other industries that Tela-Group services will be the main focus of this research and development initiative.
